We’d like to offer a Big WELCOME and introduce you to Sarah Norman, our new Landscape Designer on staff.

Sarah specializes in creating environments that bring joy to the people who live in them!

With over 30 years of experience in design and architecture and continuing education at the University of Guelph, Sarah has been drawn to designing with plants since childhood.  “My first memory as a child is the scent of lilacs,” says Norman, smiling as she recalls the old lilac tree which grew outside her bedroom window.  Sarah is passionate about the environment and takes special pleasure from matchmaking plants with their ideal growing conditions (and their ideal gardeners!) Why design with plants? “We like each other!” she laughs – “Gardens are a living expression of ourselves and are in a constant state of change and growth,” -much like us!

Sarah joined the team here at Fletcher’s Landscaping in early spring, so you might have had a chance to meet her already. She is excited to serve the North Perth community with her own twist on design alongside our crews of landscaping techs – “It’s one thing to design, but it’s a whole other thing to have a credible and experienced installation team that takes pride in their work”.

North Perth is a community full of independent homeowners who take pride in doing their own work.  Fletcher’s Landscaping has been here for over 30 years to supply and support this demographic, and Sarah is here to support you and see you through your project to successful completion! Ask her about DIY Design – she says with patience (and lots of cold beverages), anyone can complete their project themselves.  She’s here to pull together combos on the spot to suit your maintenance requirements, growing conditions, with plants that look good and perform well in your location.

Welcome to the team Sarah!
